KS4 conquer new heights at Chimera Climbing Wall

In October 2024, KS4 students visited Chimera Climbing Wall and took on an exciting challenge that pushed their limits and boosted their confidence. From scaling towering walls to tackling personal fears, the students showed remarkable resilience, determination, and teamwork throughout the day.

After a quick warm-up and safety briefing, the group got to work, climbing their way to new personal bests. Some took on the toughest routes, while others set and achieved individual goals. Guided by an enthusiastic instructor who provided tips and encouragement, the students also used their own initiative to create challenges for themselves and their peers.

Staff at Chimera praised KS4 for their enthusiasm and energy, noting how well they listened, learned, and embraced the activity. Every student succeeded in climbing to new heights—both literally and figuratively—unlocking newfound confidence and resilience.
