Faith in our Community

Given the time of year, there was a focus on Easter, with each class learning about Christian and non-Christian traditions of the season. Classes took part in engaging and practical lessons including exploring symbolism in Bible stories, creating art work, investigating places of worship in Kent and designing our own, exploring the Pagan origins of Easter and painting eggs. Each class got the opportunity to have a tour of a church and consider its religious, historical and social significance for the community.
