A trip to Belgium

Our GCSE History pupils made history of their own by going on ISPs first International trip!

We ventured on to a ferry from Dover to Calais and drove through France to Belgium and the front line!

Pupils went into preserved First World War trenches, saw raw battle images on antique view finders as well as visiting a huge Allied forces graveyard and German cemetery. We passed through Passchendaele and Ypres as well as the Menin Gate.

A fantastic very memorable experience for everyone!
