Term times & the school day

SCHOOL DAY
The structure of the school day lends itself to the works of Wilfred Bion (1962) where the psychoanalytic concept of containment is fundamental in the reduction of anxiety and where children do not remain stagnant in their interactions. In addition, the timings of the school day have been determined by the works of Dr Rob Long (2017) “If you can predict it, you can prevent it”.
