Investing in Children Award

ISP School Battle is delighted to announce that we have received the prestigious Investing in Children Award.

Caroline Belchem, Head Teacher of ISP School Battle, said: "Children and young people have rights, and are full citizens now. They are the experts of ‘being them’ and of their own ‘lived lives’. We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in securing the Investing in Children Award. This is an Award that has given our school national recognition for actively including our children in dialogue that results in change. We are so very proud of our whole school community."

Eleanor Seed, Awards Manager, said: "I was extremely impressed with the school and the mechanism they have established for children’s voice. It was clear to see that the ‘Community Meetings’ offer opportunities for children to shape, lead and influence decisions about school life."
