Oh yes we did! At the end of term 2, whilst the majority of children went ice-skating as their reward trip, a few children who are keen on developing their drama skills chose to go to the Pantomime at the Devonshire Park Theatre instead. During Terms 1 & 2 in drama, children had worked on developing a Pantomime production, exploring script writing, organisation, prop and costume design, choreography and musical performance. It was great therefore, to be able to give them the experience of watching a professional production in the flesh. The Pantomime was Peter Pan and we watched the performance at the Devonshire Park Theatre in Eastbourne. The children were enthusiastic audience participants and thoroughly enjoyed the show and adults were very proud of how well the children behaved – Oh yes we were!
