This annual celebration of authors, illustrators, books and the joy of reading is one of the highlights of our year, we love nothing more than to promote reading within our school, plus of course have some fun
with dressing up! Reading lends itself to promoting creativity, an aspect of learning that we believe is vital to encourage our children to begin to take risks with learning.
We whole heartedly know that reading offers our children the following benefits:
- enhanced cognitive development
- expanded vocabulary
- improved concentration
- fostered imagination and creativity
- all while strengthening communication and emotional skills
